Boy-Led Program:  We are a boy-led Troop. Troop 161 is organized into patrols, groups of five to eight boys who work together as a team. Each patrol has a Patrol Leader who, together with the troop's elected Senior Patrol Leader, forms the Patrol Leader’s Council (PLC). It is the PLC’s job to plan and run our Troop program. Our troop’s adult leaders are there to provide supervision and guidance, but the program’s success depends on the leadership provided by the boys themselves.
